Life After graduating from Kensington high School in 67, I attended Community College of Philadelphia. After completing the two years, I attended Kutztown State College. I loved that school but unfortunately because of family difficulties, I was compelled to continue my studies at Temple University and live at home. I met my husband in 1968 and we were married in May of 71. After completing student teaching requirements in December of 71, the two of us packed up our car and drove across country to settle in Los Angeles where we still live today. I started teaching in a private Armenian parochial school in Hollywood now named Alex Pilibos Armenian School. I worked there until 1980. I love the school and especially the community. In 1980, I was recruited by the Los Angeles Unified School District as a Bilingual teacher because of the large influx of Armenian families from the former Soviet union. I began teaching at Grant Elementary in July of 1980. This school is also located in Hollywood and only about a mile from my previous school. I have been teacher there ever since.
